Need to seriously downsize. Giving up family heirloom furniture as the kids don't want them!
These are all from great grandparents, imported from England, sometime around 1900. They ranched down in the Vernon, Rock Creek area. Grandparents inherited them and took them to Prince Rupert. In turn, we inherited them and brought them to Vancouver Island.
They need a good home with someone who appreciates antique furniture!
Antique Green armchair with wooden arms. I can't find anything similar on-line. $100.

Antique burgundy velvet throne or vanity or slipper chair (?) - low seat. $200. Great Aunt said this was a dressing chair used so Victorian women could kneel and lean forward while their corsets were being tightened. Other sites say this was a nursing chair for mothers. Yet others call it a slipper chair with short legs that put the seat about 15 inches from the floor instead of the more normal 17 to 18 inches. That meant it was possible to bend only slightly to reach your feet to put on slippers, shoes and stockings.

Two antique Queen Anne Dining Chairs. $200 for the pair. Fancy carving. One has a couple of stains on the seat.
Two antique needlepoint footstools. $100 each or $175 for the pair.

Or - You can have all six pieces for $600.
